INSIDE INDICATOR FOR BORING OPERATION INSTRUCTION
I: Application:
This indicator is applied to measure the diameter of bearing shell when boring with arbor.
II: Instruction
a. Insert the indicator into clamp tube and lock it when pointer turns to 0.5mm on dial, then adjust the slide to nominal dimension of measured
bore and lock it with the fixing nut.
b. Zero setting on indicator according to the nominal dimension of measured bore.
c. When measuring the bore hole the tube with one hand and press slightly the supports with the other hand, so that main measuring tip and
support go into the bore.
Then the main measuring tip goes forward and back together with the lower measuring tip stopped in one spot, so as to find the max. value
within different central surfaces of arbor. The arithmetic mean is nominal dimension of measured bore.
d. The indicator must be cleaned and put in the case after measurement.
